Our Story
Jode-Ian began with a very personal search for better skincare.
Our founder struggled with dry, flaky skin and hyperpigmentation, while her son experienced severe eczema. Trying product after product made one thing increasingly clear: choosing skincare can be overwhelming, especially when ingredient lists, marketing claims, and endless options make it difficult to know what is actually worth using.
That experience sparked a deeper interest in skincare ingredients, formulation, hydration, nourishment, and the different ways products support the skin.
The earliest chapter of Jode-Ian centered on handcrafted formulations developed with guidance from skincare professionals, including a dermatologist and formulation chemist. That foundation still shapes how we think about beauty today.
But as Jode-Ian grew, so did our vision.
We realized that helping customers find great skincare didn’t mean we had to make every product ourselves.
Sometimes the best product already exists; you simply need someone willing to search for it, evaluate it, understand what it does, and bring it to you.
From Handcrafted to Hand-Selected
Today, Jode-Ian has evolved from primarily creating handcrafted skincare to carefully sourcing and curating beauty products we believe deserve a place in your routine.
